Privacy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This is a working draft. It was written to describe honestly how the site actually behaves, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If anything here conflicts with your rights under Bulgarian or EU law, your rights win.

Who is responsible for your data (the controller): Future Technologies Ltd (ФЮЧЪР ТЕХНОЛОДЖИС ЕООД), company no. (EIK) 204953667, ul. Docho Mihaylov 1, fl. 2, apt. 13, 7500 Silistra, Bulgaria. Email hello@500yearpage.com.

Short version: we collect your email address so we can send you a payment link, your picture and link because they go on the page, and your IP address because we have to stop abuse. We do not sell anything to anyone and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

What we collect

We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. The site sets two cookies, both only when needed: one keeps you signed in to your account (30 days) and one keeps the owner signed in to the admin area. Your browser also remembers a few settings on your own device, such as light or dark mode and whether the sale sound is on.

Why we are allowed to

Where it is kept

In a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in Frankfurt, Germany — inside the EU. The site runs on Vercel, email is routed by Cloudflare and sent by Resend, and the domain is registered with Porkbun. Card payments are handled by Stripe: you type your card details on Stripe's page, never ours, and we only receive your email, the amount and whether it was paid. When the narrated live show is switched on, the facts of a block (its name, size and link) are sent to Anthropic to write the commentary and to ElevenLabs to turn it into speech — no email addresses or other personal data. Each of those companies processes some of this data on our behalf.

How long

Be deliberate about what you put on the page. A block is designed to outlive everyone involved, and after 31 December 2026 it cannot be edited or taken down. If you do not want a name or a face preserved for a very long time, do not put it in the picture.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or complain to a supervisory authority. In Bulgaria that is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.

Email hello@500yearpage.com and we will reply within 30 days. One honest limit: once a block is sealed we cannot remove it from archived copies held by independent archives, because that is precisely what makes the archive an archive. We can still remove your email address and other private details from our records.

Children

This site is not for under 18s and we do not knowingly collect their data.
